Back again

Hi, Hopefully I can keep this going. Thinking about changing title. Dog sitting for Vinnie, Molly, and Lily today. Vinnie can now use the doggy door, but still only if I am standing by it. He's improving slowly but surely. Vinnie came to us because his owner thought he could do with being out of his crate a couple days a week. He is trying to adjust but is uncertain as to what to do with his new found freedom. Lilly was trying to play with him today, but Vinnie wasn't having it. Lucas doesn't pay any attention to Vinnie. For some reason Angel has it in for Lily today. She can really be a beast. She slept upstairs with the guests last night. Angel is her own dog and go with whom she pleases. She has definate likes and dislikes with the people that come through here. She really likes my oldest son and his daughter and likes his girlfriend and her children. Not so much with my youngest son. Go figure.

Newest Addition

It has been a long time since I posted. I meant to keep this up, but had too many irons in the fire. Our newest addition as of Oct 2009 is Angel. She is part Chihuahua and part Boston Terrier. She is a rescue. She was abused in the past and lived for 4 years with her first family. They were good to her, but then she was given to someone who wasn't. It took her almost a year to really trust us, but she does well now. She is being treated for a skin problem. She is very good with the grandchildren, but not with other children. She tolerates other dogs, but not real well. Has been in several fights and lost both. She is a little dog that thinks she can take on the big dogs. I am careful with her, when she is meeting new dogs and it has been good so far. You'll be hearing more of her.

Our House 1982-2008

We bought our house in 1982. I found these pictures and couldn't believe how much we had done to the house. Most of it was done by my husband. Notice how skinny the tree is back in 1982. It is a black locust I think. Notice the Pacer..the kids when they were teenagers just hated driving it. They even hated me picking them up at school in it.
